In July 2004 Rutherford Electrical Engineering Services Pty Ltd expanded its business to establish a Communications Division that operates out of its own secure workshop. REES Communications is managed by Mr Michael Rego who has brought in a wealth of experience and expertise in the fields of Data, Telecommunications, and fibre technology. The technicians are well trained and have extensive experience in all facets of the communications industry. This division offers a wide range of services which include data cabling (Cat5e, Cat6), telecommunications cabling both indoor and outdoor, supply, install and maintenance of telephone systems, supply, install, maintenance and certification of fibre cables. Our Communications division is fully equipped with the latest equipment. Some of our customers include mining, railways, small to big industries, defence, airport, electrical energy companies, residential and commercial clients.

Michael has 23 years in Telecommunications, Data and fibre Termination, jointing, testing and maintenance. Michael also has 7 years in electrical wiring commercial, domestic & industrial installation & maintenance. Maintenance of appliances, HV termination, control cabling, termination and testing for sub-stations.

Michael holds a Bicsi Registered cabler’s licence and a Electrical Supervisors Licence as well as a Diploma in information technology - Network Engineering. Michael has also completed courses for Panduit, Krone, Leviton, Clipsal. AMP, LG Phones and Telecom.

Michael is resposible for the daily management of the communications division and is always available to take your enquiries.
