Routine testing of HV safety equipment may be completed either at our Rutherford laboratory or on site. Testing of HV Safety equipment is conducted in accordance with ESAA ISSC14:2003 (Guide To Electrical Workers' Safety Equipment).

REES have the ability to produce voltages up to 100kV AC and currents up to 600A for the purposes of routine testing HV safety equipment.

Equipment typically tested includes the following:

• Voltage Detectors (eg Modiewark and Catu)
• Earthing Sets
• Insulated Operating Sticks
• Discharge Sticks
